its been snowing almost daily lately, and truthfully, its getting quite annoying. alright, originally, i was like a frog under a coconut shell "katak di bawah tempurung", and was all ooohs, ahhhs over the sight of snow. even the slightest snow, and my mentality would kick back to a 5 year old, sqeauling in excitement, and rolling about in snow. but lately, given the rather often occurance of snow, its actually getting somewhat irritating. why? several reasons, in fact. one, would be that snow is wet. it does wonders to everything dry, from my shoes down to my underwear. ok, underwear only during snowfights, but i hate drying off my loafers everytime i go out when theres snow. i shouldve brought something more waterproof and didnt look like bob the builders shoes. next up, snow is slippery. its amusing, of course, seeing people slip and fall on the sidewalk, due to this wonderful miracle called snow, but my shoes isnt really made for slippery floors either. u gotta walk really slow, and have a tendency to walk like a duck. this really reminds me of what i said about girls that walk kangkang back in taylors college. annoyance no 3, snow is dirty. of course, while its falling from the sky, its white and clean. but once its on the floor, and gets stepped all over, its becomes really black and dirty. disgusting to look at, and it does wonders to white pants. tried it once, and i'm never wearing my white jeans ever again during winter. oh, and lets not forget the most important irritant of all, snow is COLD. kinda obvious things, but it really persuades you to sleep in your room under the comfort of your duvet, instead of running off to class. i wonder if my lecturer would accept snow as an excuse for my class skipping antics. hah. doubt it.
