i feel like such a dick today. as some of my friends would've put it, i'm a meanie. why? well, i noticed i didnt mention it in my blog last year, but today was our grand and annual hustings for MASSOC. what's hustings? well, it's like an informal political campaign thingy for the members to get to know the nominees of the new MASSOC board. i ran for a post last year... hustings was a relative victory for me, as i did charm the members with whatever wit i had. but the seniors, as much as i can remember, were pricks blasting me with questions from left and right. so, in honour of the long standing tradition of pressuring poor old juniors, i had some fun. however mean and evil it was, it was SO DAMN FUN. now i know how the seniors felt.
it started simple really.. first guy that went up, was the presidential candidate and also someone who signs up for my snooker socials, and failed to turn up. so i figure i'd unleash a full volley on him. hahaha, was he stressed out. he was like, thinking and thinking of how to answer, and before he could, another comment would just come in and shut him up. and after i was done with him, and finished slaughtering no.2 and no.3, i can imagine the thoughts going through all the rests mind when they walked up the stage...
please don't let that arse ask me any questions. hahaha. and while i was nice enough to just pick off the guys that were running,
sexist, i know!!.... mr gary had the honours of picking off the guys and the girls.. almost making a couple of them actually cry. overall, im satisfied. while i feel no one is actually qualified for anything, some did make an impression, and they actually do have a chance to best this years commitee. but considering this years bunch is a couple of nerds and no life geeks whos life evolves around books and never heard of the healthy activity of sports, i pity massoc, and see it heading for a new low every year to follow. hah.

its not my place to actually support any of these 2 teams... but i must say im glad for the results. between the manchester scum which isnt really too successful in the premier league... and the lucky 49 streak arsenal.. of course i'd choose MU. breaking arsenals streak is more important, although whats the big deal with THAT? its not like they went winning 49 games in a row. the crashed out of champions, carling, and FA cup. nuff said. 4 am. bedtime.
oh.. and rosalyn....
*snicker* HAHAHA ^^
(since i was threatened about a particular drink in 2007)... then.. erm.. condolences?

about 8 years ago.. i got my very first pair basketball shoes. a pair of Nikes... Metal something.... it was sleek, it was black, it had a nice big tick by the side. i loved it. i cherished it. i slept with it. i counldnt bear to wear it for basketball. size?
12 and it fit me snuggly. no shoes flying about, no thick socks to make it fit, just right.
3 years back, i decided my lovely sole-less, torn and tattered pair of nikes needed a replacement. so i bought a pair in singapore at some bargain corner. it was a reebok this time... reebok DMX.. less of a basketball shoes, and more of a cross-trainers.. but it was great. sleek, stylish, and coloured bright orange with black stripes, i'd mistake it for a tiger. size?
10.5 and it fit me fine. no blisters, nothing, just the perfect fit.
last month, i decided i was attracting too much attention wif my reeboks. so i dumped it for another pair of reeboks. reebok : above the rim. finally, a real reebok basketball shoes. the one steve francis wears. i love it, i still do. its sleek, white with some silver mesh, and its comfy. size?
9.5 and it fits perfect. i can feel wrapping perfectly around my foot.
and then i look back at old shoes and its sizes, and then i think
"my foot's shrinking, isn't it?". scary thought. gulp.
