so today, i decided to do some long needed laundry. well, i didnt do it because... more like forced to.... i mean.. wearing your underwear inside out because u ran out doesnt feel very nice. so i did. and being the wonderful and lazy person i am, instead of doing the standard 20 minutes or 40 minutes of drying, and leaving it in my room for a few more days to dry, i thought 'hey, why not just put in more coins, and dry it longer?' apparently, thats not a good idea. 2 hours of drying is not a good idea. as a result, my clothings are casualty of excessively long tumbling and very high heats. among the fallen, are :
my black sweatshirt which became so fuzzy and puffy i'd only wear it if i were to act as ba ba black sheep in a play.
my padini shirt which i learn never to leave buttons intact while drying, or you'd lose about 3 of them in 2 hours.
my pasar malam tee which is now officially my baby tee, i mean... 3 years and below type of baby tee.
my hush puppies underwear which was torn to a point it looks like a G-String now.
my giordano tshirt which colour faded and got mixed up, it looks like a picasso painting.
oh, and did i mention it wasnt dry in the end? maybe its too much load for once. heck, my wardrobe was emptied out! oh yes, have i mentioned that laundry rooms are dangerous. i mean, very dangerous. sure, from the outside, it looks so innocent and sweet, just swallowing your coins to churn out water or hot air (hey! i got alot of hot air in me myself! pay me to blow it out!). but the inner mechanics of it, deadly. first, it destroys stuff, like as mentioned above. secondly, it has a wonderful appetite for clothings. first, there was the BUM jeans which myteriously disappeared a few months back. and now, it swallows 2 of my socks. TWO OF MY FRIGGIN SOCKS FROM TWO DIFFERENT PAIRS! so now i have two socks to join me in my eternal life of singlehood. maybe ill just wear one side black, and one side white, and start a new trend. haha. but look at it this way.. everything that happened today provides me with a perfectly valid excuse to do some shopping. excuse to spend money. yay!
